There are other file sharing services like this out there, but I have years of stuff saved on my Dropbox, and it’s the most commonly used in my industry, so I’d really like to stay with what I have. I know Dropbox offers a Business plan that allows for more storage and I saw an article that mentioned something about the tracking features I’m looking for, but figured I would come to this subreddit to find an answer. Dropbox has a web interface that makes it easy to upload. The industry I work in is fairly hesitant about stuff like that and I don’t want to potentially burn a bridge. 1.Log in to the Dropbox website using the email address and password associated with your account. The recipient can then view or download the. Then, Dropbox will generate a link that you can send to the recipient. I’ve been sent Dropbox links that get flagged for potential spam and block me from viewing them, or will even send the entire email to spam. Select a file or folder you want to share. The only catch is I need to be able to send link via gmail without having any hiccups.
How many times the link was clicked, who clicked the link, what files were downloaded, anything and everything. It would be super helpful if I could get full analytics of this. Sometimes to one person, sometimes to ~200. Some background, I send out small packs of audio files (via Dropbox) to people. and possibly who did what with each file. In the pop-up menu, choose 'Share.' In the Dropbox app, you can select files and share them with other people.
Looking to figure out how to see what files that I send through a link have been clicked, downloaded, etc.
